The purpose of C.C.M.T. is NOT to be another BIG motorcycle touring business that is owned and operated by yet another business. We keep it small and personal with less overhead, meaning our prices are attractive to more people; people who have a passion to ride but do not have the time to organize a week-long motorcycle trip. Thus, our motto “You Ride - We Guide”!

About the Owner

Hello! My name is Robert Elder and I would like to tell you a little something about myself and about why I created Cripple Creek Motorcycle Tours. I have had a 23-year career in law enforcement and have devoted my leisure time to riding. I have been riding motorcycles since 1971 and have ridden 44 of the 50 states, including Hawaii.  Since 1998, I have organized numerous motorcycle trips for family and friends, laying out routes, planning scenic stops and accommodations, rest, food and gas stops across those 44 states. I have been riding from a home in Houston, Texas, all the way to places like Key West and Las Vegas. It has been great fun! I have ridden extensively in Colorado, own property and a business there and have made it my permanent home. While riding through the mountains a couple of years ago, I thought about how beautiful it is and how all motorcycle riders should have the opportunity to enjoy the great ride with fantastic views. With that in mind, I developed C.C.M.T. with the input from a few friends. Now my wife has joined in, after riding what is now the C.C.M.T. tours, with me.
